Who's Katie?

Hello, my name is Katie Visco:) I am a passion-driven 23-year old gal who wants to give to the world in extraordinary ways! Yes, I am an optimist and I like to DREAM BIG. I am also a runner. I have run competitively for that last 11 years of my life, 4 of which were on my collegiate team at Carleton College. I spent several years as the team captain, which was a gift because I fell in love with inspiring young girls. I must mention that Carleton College, in Northfield, MN, is a magical place that shaped me in oh so many ways. After college I moved out to Boston, MA where I did a year of full-time service with CIty Year, an Americorps program. I worked with high school aged youth in a program called City Heroes. Experienced runner 11 years of competitive running experience, including 4 years at Carleton College. Run more than 14,000 miles! Team captain for 6 collegiate seasons, and 4 high school seasons. Awarded Heart Award each and every of 11 collegiate running seasons for dedication to and love of both the sport and teammates.
Educated humanitarian Graduated cum laude in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Carleton College in Northfield, MN Spent 2007-08 in full-time service doing City Year, an Americorps program, in Boston. Worked with high school students and changed the world. Furthered National Service as a Change Agent building the ServiceNation Campaign
